Something big is happening at trooper care network, and we are excited to finally share it. After years of providing basic first aid and supplies to unhoused individuals, we are expanding our mission in a powerful new way. We are launching our full six kit model, a comprehensive approach designed to meet real needs with dignity, practicality, and care.
Each kit has a purpose. Each kit fills a gap. And together, they allow us to support people more completely than ever before.
This is the next chapter of trooper care network, and we cannot wait to bring our community along with us.
1. First Aid and Supplies Kit
This is where we began, and it remains the heart of who we are. Our first aid and supplies kit includes essential items that help prevent minor wounds from becoming major problems. Bandages, gauze, ointment, antiseptic wipes, blister care, and other small but critical tools make a meaningful difference for people who often have no access to basic medical support.
This kit will always be part of our identity. It is the foundation of our work and the anchor of our mission.
2. Cooling and Heat Relief Kit
Arizona summers are intense, and heat can be dangerous for anyone living outdoors. Our cooling and heat relief kit provides items that help people stay safer in extreme temperatures. Cooling towels, electrolyte packets, sun protection, shade tools, and hydration support are all part of this kit.
This kit is designed to reduce heat stress and help people stay comfortable and safe during the hottest months of the year.
3. Hygiene and Comfort Kit
Small hygiene items can make a big difference in someone’s day. Our hygiene and comfort kit includes wipes, soap, deodorant, dental care items, clean socks, and other essentials that support dignity, health, and confidence.
This kit helps people feel more comfortable, more refreshed, and more human in moments when life feels heavy.
4. Seasonal Support Kit
Arizona weather changes quickly, and people living outdoors need tools that match the season. Our seasonal support kit includes items like warm socks, gloves, beanies, light layers, hand warmers, and blankets during colder months. In warmer months, it shifts to lighter protection and comfort items.
This kit adapts to the season and helps people stay safe no matter the temperature.
5. Emergency Readiness Kit
Unexpected situations happen every day, and having basic emergency tools can make a real difference. Our emergency readiness kit includes items like bandages, antibiotic ointment, alcohol wipes, ponchos, flashlights, whistles, and other small tools that support safety and preparedness.
This kit helps people navigate emergencies with a little more confidence and a little more protection.
6. Pet Care Kit
Many unhoused individuals have pets who provide companionship, protection, and emotional support. Our pet care kit includes food, treats, collapsible bowls, waste bags, small blankets, and flea and tick wipes.
This kit honors the bond between people and their pets and ensures that both receive care.
Why This Expansion Matters
The needs in our community are diverse, and people deserve support that reflects the reality of their lives. By expanding into the six kit model, trooper care network is stepping into those needs with more strength, more flexibility, and more compassion than ever before.
Each kit is designed with intention. Each kit is built from real conversations and real experiences. And each kit allows us to meet people where they are with care that is practical, thoughtful, and human.
